Flashback 2009! It was our youngest 7th birthday, we were still in our first year in our adopted country, Singapore. Many are not into parties, we decided to spend the weekend in Bangkok with the Dream World as the highlight.
Bangkok is known for cheap shopping, we went to the night bazaar, Chatuchak Weekend Market. And while I was looking for breakfast the next morning, I discovered a wholesale market at Pratunam situated behind the shops opposite our hotel. We made a quick shopping then as our flight was 1pm. I can't forget, my oldest said she was done shopping but she have more bahts.

We took a metered taxi to and from the park/hotel. It costs us around 700bahts each way. You could opt by aircon bus or by train. Dream World was not bad. It was the closest park we could go next to HK Disneyland. Universal Studios Singapore opened in 2010. More so, the last time I checked, there were additional rides at Dream World Bangkok and the landscapes are sort of different from our visit. And there were more rides and areas that we were not able to capture. One day is not enough to explore the whole park.

We took a nap during the short travel back to Singapore. Our naughty youngest wickedly took photo of us. Apparently, daddy was not in this trip.
