Rottnest Island : The Basin, Geordie bay, Quokkas, Salt Lakes Nov 2016

In addition to seven videos uploaded earlier feature the bays and beaches on rottnest island, compilation of photos taken at Geordie bay, Salt lakes, more of Quokkas loitering around and the Basin beach. It was late when we got to the Basin. the beach was not guarded. We decided not to go farther, we planned to snorkle though. The beach boast of its shallow reef platform.

Ferry to Rottnest Island with Swan River Cruise, Perth, Western Australia 19 November 2016

We took the fast ferry to Rottnest Island. We left Barrack St Jetty in Perth and started the journey down the Swan River to Fremantle. We transferred to another boat and picked up additional passengers. We had another stop at Northport Fremantle for more passengers to board and the bikes rented were loaded onto the boat. We then continued to the sea towards Rottnest island. From Northport, the ride was pretty rough. Approaching the island, ride was already smooth.
