When we were preparing for our 2012 Philippine tour: Cebu and Bohol, I have checked Mr. Google the best places we could go and explore in Cebu and Bohol. For Cebu, there are two must see Resorts and one of them is the Plantation Bay Resort and Spa. The other one was where we had stayed on the first day of this trip, Shangri-la Mactan Resort and Spa. Both resorts offer day tour package should you find accommodation rate a bit expensive.

Plantation Bay Resort and Spa is more of water. Literally water everywhere: saltwater Lagoons, Swimming pools and beach.
DayTripper Adventure Package costs P2,000 per person on weekdays and P2,500.00 per person on weekends and holidays. The package includes the use of all the pools and lagoons, lunch and drink, 30min use of bicycles and a lot more.
Initially, we planned to just go the two popular resorts on a day trip. But when I did my math, since we were a family of three then, spending overnight in the resort is more practical.
We cycled around the resort before we had our breakfast. As we have said earlier, water everywhere.

The deepest part of the lagoon, the 12ft dive. Our mermaid kiddo jumped off into the 12 ft saltwater lagoon.

We left this place at around 3 pm. We actually left our room at 12nn, placed our luggage in the storage and spent more time in the resort until 3pm before we headed to Cebu City proper. We really had a wonderful experience in this water paradise. Service was exceptional, crew were the most kind and helpful and tipping was not allowed. The food was outstanding.
