Boracay Island, Philippines: Yapak Beach/ Family Travelogue April 2008

Our last day in the island, flight back to Angeles City was in the afternoon.  We went to the nearby beach in the morning called Yapak beach.  It is also called Puka beach.  You could find numerous Puka shells that could be used for accessories and ornaments.  The eldest bailed out and continued to sleep.  The island was not surrounded by fancy hotels though it is equally beautiful as the popular one with clear water and powdery sand.

Getting ready to go back.  One of the staff took us to Caticlan Airport.  Only boat was the means of transport.

We were the only passengers in the small plane.  The pilot was joking we must be very rich hiring a private plane.

Even at the Clark Airport, we were the only ones the Airport staff assisted on the arrival.

the youngest was wearing the necklace made of puka shells we bought at Yapak Island.

We had definitely a blast with this trip.  Too bad daddy was not with us.  We went back to this amazing island in 2011.  We had our very first scuba diving.
