Shinjuku, Harajuku, Yoyogi Park Tokyo, JAPAN / Family Travelogue 18 March 2014

Thought of posting these now before it gets old. We are going back to Tokyo this March 2016 and we would be sharing new photos.

Before we went to Osaka, we went around the city of Tokyo. The past few days we were outskirts. We had realized there was so much in Tokyo, the half day we spent was definitely not enough. We just went to Harajuku. Yoyogi Park is on foot from the Harajuku Station. Harajuku is just a few stations from Shinjuku. The kids were so amazed they had seen few trees of Sakura. Schedule of the full bloom Sakura were expected before the end of March,

When we go back this March, we are spending the two days going around the city. We would go up the highest tower, Skytree, and also the Sky tower. We would visit the garden at the Imperial Palace, Asakusa and on our last day we would explore the Futuristic city, Odaiba before we fly back to Singapore.

We are going back to Fuji and Hakone too. And this time we would be visiting the Disneyland. The last time it was the Disneysea. I would surely take photos as many as I can. I am looking forward to the disney parade and the fireworks. We intentionally missed the fireworks last time and even the one at Disney Paris. We were freezing. But this time, we would be prepared for much warmer coat.

Ohh! before I forget, we're gonna stay at Akihabara as requested by my youngest. She is into anime, she could go around herself and I could do my thing. I would take photos of the anime stuff/place of course, for my kiddie/ teen viewers.

I still have more to prepare such as the purchase of admission tickets and train/bus fares, the timing to get to the places... In Fuji, we are visiting the Lake Yamanaka. the last time it was the Lake Kawaguchi. We would take the ropeway at Kawaguchiko as there are interesting to see up in the mountain and the panoramic view of the lake. I hope we could have time to take two crazy rides at the Fuji Q Highland.

In Hakone, I have to make sure to take the Lake Ashii cruise. I know now how to go around Hakone- with the help of my google map, . We are taking the JAL and the airline provides passengers passwords to access WIFI to many places in Japan. I still have two weeks to decide if I would rent a pocket wifi. I would mention on my next post the pocket wifi we rented during our Japan trip in 2014.
