Family trip to Japan March 2014

Lake Kawaguchiko is the second largest of the Fuji Five Lakes and it is in the border of Fujikawaguchiko and Minobu.

Among the Fuji Five Lakes, Lake Kawaguchiko is the easiest to go to by train and direct bus from Shinjuku Tokyo to Kawaguchiko Station. A few minutes walk from Kawaguchicko station to Lake Kawaguchi,

Fuji Q Highland is an amusement park in FujiYoshida, Yamanasha Prefecture, Japan. One stop station from Kawaguchiko station.

We had stayed at Hotel Century Southern Tower, Shinjuku. 5-minute walk to Shinjuku Station.

Shinjuku Station is the major railway station in Shinjuku and Shibuya ward, Tokyo Japan. The station has been considered the world's busiest transport hub with a total of 51 platforms and 200 exits.

Direct bus connection to Kawaguchiko Station. The bus terminal is located in front of Yodobashi Camera, two-minute walk from Shinjuku Station west exit.

We are going back in March 2016 to try to cover all the Five lakes and to take the ropeway for the panoramic view of Mt Fuji at the Summit.

We had our lunch at the Japanese Restaurant opposite the Kawaguchiko station.
