Moving to my own developed platform, Travels & Escapades. check it out
I've just developed a new platform called Travels & Escapades, where you can share your travel photos, places visited, and other escapades to help friends who want to visit the same places in the future. You can also promote interesting spots in your home country.
It's free to sign up and create as many stories as you'd like.
I created this site with the help of ChatGPT and tutorials on YouTube. This combines two of my passions: programming and traveling.
My youngest helped me with the design of the logo and icons for Travels & Escapades. While site's construction is still ongoing, we welcome your feedback on any errors or issues you encounter while browsing. Please feel free to suggest improvements as well.
In addition to a travel blog feature, Travels & Escapades includes an inbox for chatting with other members. The site is designed to be responsive and accessible on both large and mobile screens.

Hoi An, Vietnam on CNY eve
![]() |
| New Year's Eve at Hoi An, Vietnam |
Our Vietnam tour for 9 days, our first stop was in Hoi An. We arrived DaNang from Singapore on the eve of CNY 2024, 09Feb. The flight took only less than 3 hours. Vietnam is one hour earlier than Singapore. I heard so much of Hoi An, especially its food. I am not fond of joining day tours, we decided to spend overnight in Hoi An. Was a day enough?

Wandering South Korea in 2023
Because of the pandemic, most were introduced to the Kdrama world. And I was one of them. I have watched a lot of their shows and series. I got updated also to K entertainment. I never thought I would love to go back to Korea after my not so impressive experience during my first visit in 2009, with my colleagues. I never appreciated then the bibimbap, it is now my favourite.
I had arranged a one week trip to Korea with my husband. October 2023. After two weeks or later, our firm had arranged a firm trip to guess where, yes! in Seoul. It was in August though, the peak of the heat of the sun. The last firm trip we had was in 2018, in Bangkok. We were set to Taipeh in 2020, apparently, cancelled because of the pandemic. Back to our this firm trip, I was not keen at first. Not only we were going there too in October, thought of would not enjoy because of the high temp.
Long story short, i did enjoy!!! Both my trip in August and October , I had so much fun! I so miss the place and of course, the food. I have so much to share. . August trip covered Seoul only. October trip: Jeonju, Busan, Gapyeong and Seoul. I will come back and update this blog... very soon. See you!
