Sound of Music Movie Locations / Family Travelogue 10 June 2013

The timeless movie, The Sound of Music,  was my inspiration for our Europe travels.  The movie sounds dinosaur to many present youth though, first shown in the late 60's, it is still the favourite subject of the many Music classes and still visible in the Broadway.  I was so amazed with the picturesque beauty of the ALPS that could relieve a day stress, viewing from the back mansion setting of the Von Trapp's family home in the movie.

Comes computer age, I had started befriending Mr. Google to tell me all about Salzburg and thought of the first place to visit should I go to Europe.

In the movie, The Sound of Music, a few scenes featured Salzburg Old Town, Austria
