Happiness is here! Tokyo Disneyland
To continue our Japan trip 2016, we were at Tokyo Disneyland on the 3rd day, 15 March 2016. Somehow I felt the family was not complete. We were in Disneyland, we were supposed to be with the whole family. It was only me, the mommy and the youngest who was on this trip.
One of my dreams is to visit with my family all the Disneyland Parks in the world. We had our first visit in Hong Kong and we've been there for several times since it is the nearest in Singapore and Philippines. Our next was in Paris in 2013, both the Disneyland Resort Park and the Walt Disney Studio. We visited the Tokyo DisneySea in March 2014. We plan to visit the two Disney theme parks at Anaheim this December 2016. Yet to plan in Florida and the soon to be opened in Shanghai.
We did focus taking photos of the park's attractions and took videos of the parades. Apparently, we had enough of our faces. The park is very big and we wanted to capture as many as we can in a single day.
We had stayed at Hotel MyStays Ochanamizu. Awajicho station is one of the nearest, five minutes walk from our hotel. Tokyo station is two stops from Awajicho taking the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line bound to Ogikubo. JR Musashino Line starts at Tokyo station, Maihama station is 6 stops from the origin. Maihama station is the Disneyland station. Hyperdia offers various routes to Maihama from your origin. The route below was the fastest available at that time from our place.

We planned to be at the Resort at 8:30am. We were so tired from the previous day's activities, we extended our sleep and arrived Disneyland at 9:20. There are two disney theme parks in Tokyo. Exiting the Maihama station, to the left would lead you to Tokyo DisneySea by the disney monorail. On the right is the way to Tokyo Disneyland. Latter's main gate is adjacent to Maihama station, likewise, the Disneyland station for monorail. We had visited Tokyo DisneySea in 2014 together with tthe daddy and the eldest . This trip, the two were left in Singapore while mommy and the youngest were enjoying in Japan.
This place is certified to be the busiest among the busiest. I wonder why both parks are always packed with students even on school days.
Bon Voyage is a souvenir shop located between Maihama station and the gateway to Tokyo Disneyland. It is open one hour longer than the theme parks, from 7:30 am to 11pm. Most of the visitors, especially the kids, buy disney gear in this shop before entering the park. This shop has more disney merchandise to offer compare to other disney shops in Japan.
My daughter forgot her disney head gear, we bought one inside. I brought the one I used in 2014 at Tokyo DisneySea.

I purchased tickets online before we flew to Japan. We still queue though for bag checking and for park entrance.

This place is extremely crowded. We managed to get two fastpass only. By 2:30pm, most of the FP were all taken. Queue for popular rides could take two to three hours.

Star Tours: The Adventure Continue is one of the major attractions at Tomorrowland, Tokyo Disneyland. Experiencing the classic Star Wars in 3D. And to feel like one of the passengers to the next adventure. This attraction is a motion simulator based on the series of Star Wars films. To fully enjoy the journey, I kept my photography gadgets... sorry!

After the Star Tours adventure, we had our lunch at the nearest we had found that could fill us for the next hours. We ended up at Tomorrowland Terrace that offers mickey-shaped burgers. Nothing special...same as the other theme parks: pricey and crowded.
My daughter tried to reserve seats (by lottery) for the shows: Once Upon a Time and One Man's Dream II- The Magic Lives On. Epic fail both for our tickets :(. She tried to get FP for the Big Thunder Mountain and Monsters Inc... as early as 1:30pm all FP schedules till evening were taken. Standby queue at 120 minutes and more.
We joined the guests sitting on the ground and wait for the Day time parade: Happiness is Here.
