Hong Kong Disney's Hollywood Hotel is one of the three hotels at Hong Kong Disneyland resort. It was the first hotel to open in the resort, on 12 September 2005, the same day the Hong Kong Disneyland Theme Park was opened to visitors. HK Disneyland Hotel was the second to open, in December the same year. Disney Explorers Lodge kicked off in 2017.
Disney's Hollywood hotel is the cheapest among the three. Nevertheless, the hotel room is nice, clean and big enough for us. Toiletries and 2 big bottles of water were supplied everyday. Likewise, 4 pairs of bed slippers with mickey's head logo were supplied daily. Hollywood themed garden was good for photos with mickey's logo all around. Actually, you will find mickey's logo everywhere in this hotel. It would not be a Disney hotel if no mickey. You will love as well the piano-shaped pool and a few more amusements for the kids. You can visit the other two hotels and use its facilities such as the pool anytime during the hotel stay. The crew will ask for the room card. There is a free shuttle bus that go around the Resort, between the Theme Park and the 3 hotels, that can be used by everyone even not a hotel guest. The bus starts from the Resort's Public Transport Interchange (PTI), where MRT and bus to HK Central are and the Disneyland Park entrance is a few minutes on foot. From the PTI, the shuttle will stop next at Disneyland Hotel to the Explorers lodge to Hollywood hotel and go back to the Interchange. The shuttle bus runs every 20 minutes from 6am to 1am. It is more frequent during park times, 10 to 15 minutes. Should you need a shuttle bus within the resort from 1am to 6am, you could check at the hotel reception or give them a ring.

We had stayed at Disney's Hollywood Hotel for a few times. In November 2017, I and our youngest were back to this hotel with my mom, my my youngest brother who resides in US and my daughters' two cousins. Latter were the children of my brother who had died in 2014.
I booked the De Luxe package, benefits are shown further above. In 2017, the package costs HK$6,756.00 for 2 adults for 2 nights. The room could accommodate 4 adults, add on to the package for additional 2 guests were allowed. Add on costs HK$2,646. We thought 2 nights stay would not be enough if we visit the Disney Park for two days. I booked additional one night stay which costs HK$ 1,707.50.
You may be wondering there were six of us and the room is only good for four. We find it too costly if we booked two rooms, it is not allowed though, we just smuggled in two of us. I and my brother slept on the carpet. I brought two comforters and the pillows in the room were more than four. The package was only for four, we purchased additional park tickets, one for my brother and for my mom who is a senior citizen so it cost very very cheap.
More or less the total cost for the 3-night stay with 2 days play for 5 adults and 1 senior citizen:

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is far from downtown It could take 40 minutes to an hour by train. Staying at one of the 3 hotels, dining options would only be inside the hotels or inside the Disney park. Meals range from HK$ 150. You'd been warned!!! You'll dine though with Disney characters around.
The art deco style hotel room sleeps 4 guests. The beds are big for 2 adults. We had stayed here for a few times, we find the price reasonable for a four star hotel .It would be expensive if only two will stay in the room . The food within the resort are not cheap, consider been warned!!! There was a food truck located between the Surfing Mickey Fountain and the PTI. Prices of the food could be affordable.
So Disney! So Mickey!
We deserve a night hot bath after a long day walk at the Park.
Grown-up kidz were enjoying. It's been years the last time they were together.
Hollywood themed garden. Great for photo, isn't it? The garden is located at the back of the hotel. All three hotels at the Disneyland Resort can access the beach entrance through the garden.

Chef Mickey's Restaurant Buffet Breakfast at Disney's Hollywood Hotel. I normally take photos of the food but there were many guests. Menu was not bad. Serves both local and international food.
Just so we could not have enough of Mickey. He is the Disney. The other characters were created later. And this is Chef's Mickey Restaurant. We only see Mickey in this place. More so, Mickey is the pioneer and the reason we have this so called the happiest place on earth.
Just like in the movies, dine like a Hollywood star. the prices are not cheap but much cheaper than Chef Mickey and the other Restaurants in the hotel

Serves Western and Asian cuisine. Lots of choices from the long cafeteria line. Hot neals, sandwiches and salads, sodas and juices, desserts and chips. We do not want to waste our precious time buying at the Disney Park itself, most could be purchased at the three hotels' gift shops.

A quick snap with mickey's head line in the mirror. on our way for the 2nd visit to the park. There is a designated Park Entrance for the hotel guests. Since two of us were not registered, we all entered at the regular entry pass.
All three hotels at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort are located on the shores of South China Sea. Such a wonderful view of the peaceful sea and the Hong Kong Island's skyscraper.
Piano shaped pool at Disney's Hollywood Hotel in Hong Kong. Month of November. Pools not popular that time. It was a cool weather though, the pool was heated. Day 4 at the resort. We already used our two-day park tickets. We're checking out soon and off to Hong Kong Central. But kids would not leave without a immersing themselves in the pool.
The pool was all by themselves. Definitely, not to be missed. I wanted to join!!! But can't. Our card key is for four guests only. Need to show the Card key to request for towels. Good thing, my mom and I got in the pool area without any question.

Our package allowed us for early check in and late check out. But there's more in the Central too. Sun was down earlier during that period. So we got to move. Four days at the resort for this trip was sufficient. There would always be next visit.
Stood in front of the MTR station, got to say goodbye for now to Hong Kong Disneyland. We really had a wonderful time! We'd visited most of the Disney Parks around the world though, only in Hong Kong we could afford to stay at Disney's hotel, lol.
Hong Kong is very near to Philippines and Singapore. It's just a few hours flight and the airfare is not as expensive as to Europe. We visited the two Disney theme parks in Paris, for a day only. Disneyland Paris is as incredibly majestic as the other Disney Theme Parks, but there is so much in Paris. There is so much in Hong Kong too, but latter is just 3 hours away by air from Singapore. In California, we had a relative who live very near to Disneyland. In Tokyo, we had visited the Disney Sea and Disneyland in separate years, but this I admit... the Disney hotel rates were really pricey.
