Colmar is a city in the northeastern France, situated on the Alsatian Wine Route.  The picturesque  narrow cobblestone streets of the city have remained unchanged and are lined with well preserved  half-timbered houses in traditional architectural style.

Strasbourg is the capital of the Alsace Region in the northeast  France, border with Germany formed by the River Rhine  The city is not the capital of France though, but it is the official seat of the European

Ribeauvillé (Rappoltsweiler in German) is within the Alsace Wine Route located between the Vosges mountain and the vineyards.  The town was the seat of the Lordship of the 









Riquewihr, Alsace, France





Riquewihr is one of the picturesque villages in the Route des Vins (Alsace Wine Road).  The town's appearance is almost the same as it was  in the 16th century,

Kaysersberg is in the Route des Vins d'Alsace (Alsace "Wine Route") between Riquewihr and Colmar.  It was formerly the town of the Holy  Roman Empire and was named Kaysersberg,







The Hall of Mirrors,
Palace of Versailles, France

  


The Hall of Mirrors is the central gallery of the Palace.  It features 17 mirrors-clad arches that reflects the 17 arcaded windows that overlook the garden.

Musée Picasso  in Paris is one of the many museums around the world that houses the works of Pablo Picasso.  The museum in Paris is located in  rue de Thorigny, in the Marais district.  Picasso's work are housed at the 15th century






Venus de Milo
Louvre Museum 


One of the three (3) popular art works at the Louvre Museum is at the Sully Wing, Room 345.  The original Greek marble sculpture named Venus de Milo arrived at the Louvre in 1821.  It was discovered on the island of Melos in the Cyclades (Greece) in 1820.  This statue is said to be dated from about 120 BC by Alexandros of Antioch (not stated in the Louvre for some reason) and

Verkehrshaus der Schweiz (Swiss Transport Museum) Lucerne, Switzerland, 13 June 2013






We spent the morning of our stay in Lucerne on 13 June 2013 at the Swiss Transport Museum.
 I have compiled all the photos taken at the Swiss Transport Museum to video.






We had spent the rest of the day, 13 June 2013,  walking around Lucerne, Switzerland.
