Kaysersberg is in the Route des Vins d'Alsace (Alsace "Wine Route") between Riquewihr and Colmar.  It was formerly the town of the Holy  Roman Empire and was named Kaysersberg, a German name means Emperor's mountain. This beautiful town lies between the mountains and the vineyards. Kaysersberg was voted "favoured by France" in 2017

Riquewihr is one of the picturesque villages in the Route des Vins (Alsace Wine Road).  The town's appearance is almost the same as it was  in the 16th century,  Riquewihr is one of the places that was not badly damaged during the World War II

Ribeauvillé (Rappoltsweiler in German) is within the Alsace Wine Route located between the Vosges mountain and the vineyards.  The town was the seat of the Lordship of the   Ribeaupierre (Rappoltstein  in German) family  from the middle ages to their extinction in 1673.  The Lord was said to be the protector of the minstrels wandering in his land  in exchange for tax payment.
