I am one of the many who find it a mission to visit all the Disney Parks in the world. There are a total of twelve (12) parks to-date. We have not visited yet the four theme parks and two water parks at the Lake Buena Vista in Florida and the newest park opened in Shanghai in 2016. I hope I would be able to visit them all before I retire. My kids, who are both grown ups, are actually starting to get sick of Disneyland, but not me.
Since we live in Asia, the first Disney we ever visited was the one in Hong Kong which was opened in September 2005. Our first visit was in January 2008, followed by in December 2010 and in December 2012. Fortunately, there were new themed areas opened every visit to HK Disneyland. On our recent visit to HK Disneyland in November 2017, Mystic Point was a new addition. More themed areas and attractions to be added in the next 6 years. So I guess I would be at Hong Kong Disneyland seven (7) years from now or in 2026. I must be very old by then.
The next Disney Parks we visited were the ones in Paris during our DIY Europe trip in June 2013. We visited both in one day. There are so much to see in Paris and we only had five days then, we did not want to spend the two days at the Disney Parks. One day though is not enough to explore one park.
During our DIY Japan tour in March 2014, we visited the Tokyo Disney Sea. Latter is so far the only Disney Park of its kind, explains we did not visit Tokyo Disneyland instead. We were at Tokyo Disneyland though in March 2016.
In December 2016, we spent two days at Disneyland Park in Anaheim and one day at Disney California Adventure, included in our DIY US tour in 2016.
We plan to visit all the parks in Florida in 2019 and the one in Shanghai in 2020.
