Ingredients:
15 pieces boiled quail eggs
1/2 kilo prawns (head and shell removed, deveined)
1 big onion
1 tbsp minced garlic
1/4 cup butter
450g mixed vegetables: carrots, green peas, corn, green beans (blanched)
3/4 cup water (shrimp stock if available)
8 thin slices of ham (optional), cut into thin cube
1 can cream of mushroom
small can of nestle cream (can also use whipping cream or table cream)
1 tbsp cooking oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Directions:
1. Melt the butter in a cooking pan then add the oil.
2. Saute the onion and garlic. Add the salt and pepper.
3. Add the blanched mixed vegetables and cook for 3 minutes
4. Add the water or stock and boil for a minute or 2
5. Add the quail eggs (and the sauteed shrimps if there is) then stir
6. Pour-in the cream of mushroom and nestle cream
7. Continue stirring until all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed

I like quail eggs. but high in cholesterol. I would still try this recipe. looks delicious. now I am hungry
ReplyDeleteyou are right Alfonso. 1 quail egg is equivalent to 3 chicken eggs. Egg yolk has more cholesterol compare to the meat itself. Eat moderately.
