MACAU TOWER/ SKYWALK ADVENTURE / Family Travelogue December 2010

Macau Tower is an observation deck located in Macau, a Special Region of China.  The tower is 338m in height. 61st floor, the outside observatory deck and 233 meters in height,  offers Tower Adventures such as Bungee Jump, Tower Climb, Sky Walk and Sky Jump.  We had joined the cheapest and the least scary, the Sky Walk.  Inclusive with the price: USB for the pictures, E-Certificate, Membership Card and the exclusive T-shirt.  All these three t-shirts are frequent in our washing machine till now.  They are our youngest' fond to wear.

Macau Tower was inspired by the Sky Tower in Auckland, New Zealand.  Macau billionaire, Stanley Ho Hung Sun was so impressed with the tower, he decided to build the same in Macau.  With the Engineering firm from New Zealand and architect firm from Macau, construction begun in 1998.  The tower was officially opened on 19 December 2001.

Not much to see in Macau.  It is more of Casinos.  However, you could be entertained when inside to most of the casinos as each have their own way to attract guests, not only for adults, for children as well.  Most of the hotels in Macau offer free shuttle to aiport, ferry terminal and popular places in the city such as Macau Tower.  From Airport and Ferry Terminal, a line of buses of  the big casinos offer free shuttle to their establishment.
Check out the videos I took from our recent visit to the two grandeur casinos at Cotai Strip, November 2017.
